Cèdres – AOC
The name of this wine comes from the 2 magnificent cedar trees (cedres) at the entrance of the property. Traditionally, the cedar tree has been a symbol of immortality and was thought to protect against robberies or natural disasters.
Vines have been cultivated there for centuries and this estate has been in the Medeville family since 1828; it is now managed by the 8th generation of the family.
The vines are 25 years old on average; the harvested bunches are carefully sorted out thanks to one of the most sophisticated and efficient sorting device in the Bordeaux area.
