Rickety Bridge Estate

Located on the Western Cape of South Africa, today’s Rickety Bridge Estate has been actively cultivating wine as early as 1694.  In addition to the modern winery, the estate also features a restaurant, luxurious accommodations, and an event venue.  The historic concrete wine cellar was renovated at the turn of this century, adding modern cooling systems and increasing the capacity to 500 tons of grapes.

The Rickety Bridge winemaking philosophy takes a gentle approach in the vineyards and minimal intervention in the cellar.  They cultivate numerous varietals, all hand harvested and carefully selected for vinification.  The portfolio features many award-winning wines, divided into four collections – the Foundation Stone Range, Rickety Bridge Collection, Paulina’s Reserve Labels, and the Icon Range.
